I'm Valeria Valenza, and I always loved to draw, so I decided to become an illustrator at the age of 4! I live in Bologna, Italy with my crazy family and 2 special cats.
I studied art and decoration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Italy. My works were selected for the 2005-2009-2010's editions of Bologna Children's Book Fair fiction section. 
I also hold illustration workshops in schools and museums, and I have participated in a lot of exhibitions around the world.
My favorite expression: Why!?  My secret power: I can imagine impossible things. 
My favorite food: PASTA AL PESTO.
My books have been  translated into several languages all over the world. And my recent clients include Templar Books, Ars Edition, Miles Eelly, Penguin, Jellycat, Out of the Box, Hachette,  Feltrinelli, Emme edizioni, and Franco Cosimo Panini.
