Trudi Hemans is an illustrator and designer based in Atlanta, GA. She has a BFA in Illustration and works digitally. Her work is inspired by the lush dreamscapes of her hometown in Jamaica, fantasy and lore as well as the vibrant colors of her Afro-Caribbean culture. Trudi loves details and finding ways to add magic and wonder to her artwork. Recent clients include Nick Jr, Penguin Random House and Harper Collins.
When she’s not drawing, Trudi loves to be out in nature taking hikes, crocheting, trying a new banana bread recipe or talking to her one too many plant-babies!
