Serineh Eliasian is an illustrator & surface designer based in Yerevan, Armenia. She received her MA in Graphic Design from Art University of Tehran then followed her dream to become a children’s books illustrator. Most of Serineh’s inspiration comes from nature, her childhood memories and dreams. She is fascinated by nature’s beauty and can’t keep herself from drawing botanicals in her illustrations. She also loves drawing fun and quirky characters.
Serineh works digitally but loves using traditional art mediums like watercolor and colored pencils. She loves to collect picture books, magnets and decorative owls from all around the world.
When she is not working, you can find Serineh reading books, playing the piano, baking her favorite desserts, looking after her plants (she would love to have a greenhouse someday) and going for long walks with her husband and their dog.
Serineh's illustrations will debut in her first picture book, Yasi & Mina's Pomegranate Tree (Sleeping Bear Press), set to be published in April 2025!
Serineh is represented by Ethan Long & Heather Long (ethan@tugeau2.com, heather@tugeau2.com).
