(she/her/hers) is a queer Brooklyn-based graphic novelist and illustrator who graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 2022. Her debut as an illustrator, The Greenies, written by Emma Mills and published by Henry Holt, hits the shelves in March 2026. Sarah is currently illustrating the next two books in the series as well as the graphic novel adaptation of backlist classic, The Doll People by Ann M. Martin and Laura Godwin, adapted by Ivy Noelle Weir for publication by Christy Ottaviano Books in 2028.
Sarah excels at emotional storytelling and diverse character development — finding joy and humor in the most unlikely places. Sarah’s work draws inspiration from a complicated childhood that motivated her to follow her dreams. Connection, nuance and determination are reflected not only in her work but in the ways she interacts with the world.
