Monge Lua is a Brazilian children's book illustrator who has been drawing since he was little. Growing up, Monge spent Sunday afternoons drawing with his brothers and sisters.
In his artwork, Monge likes to explore textures and colors, loves to draw different body types, kids, grannies and animals, especially bears. Monge studied graphic design and fine art.
When he's not drawing, you can find Monge watching horror movies, listening to true crime podcasts, reading manga or playing with his dog called Sky.
Monge illustrated You Are My Rainbow published by Little Simon in May, 2025 which was named a Best Book of the Year So Far (2025) in the Baby-Age 2 category.
