Dr. Lynn Adler was a kid who loved bugs, and grew up to be a scientist who gets to play with plants and bugs for a living.
Lynn is passionate about creating a world where anyone can see themselves as a scientist, and she loves writing books that ignite curiosity and wonder. Lynn enjoys silly humor, clever rhymes, and lyrical language that paints a picture in our minds. And sometimes, for fun, she writes about topics that have nothing to do with science.
Lynn grew up in New York, conducted research in many parts of the country, and now lives in western Massachusetts with her family and two demanding cats. She is a member of SCBWI and two critique groups, and has attended workshops from Boyds Mills, the Writing Barn, and the Children’s Book Academy, among others. Aside from plants and bugs, Lynn loves long walks, any kind of water (oceans! lakes! puddles!),dark chocolate, ice skating, craft fairs, romcoms, unexpected jokes, interesting patterns of cracks n the sidewalk, and spending time with her family and friends.
Lynn is proudly represented by Nicole Tugeau (nicole@tugeau2.com).
