Jennifer Brennise writes magical middle grade full of flawed, witty kids determined to save the world. Her inspiration can be summed up by the words of Liani Taylor: “You’re a storyteller. Dream up something wild and improbable. Something beautiful and full of monsters.”
When she’s not writing, you can find Jennifer exploring the wilderness, curled up with a fantasy book, or sitting with her six-year-old as he unsuccessfully tries to teach her how to build a dinosaur out of Legos.
Jennifer has a background in labor and delivery nursing and is an active member of SCBWI and Inked Voices. She lives deep in the Colorado mountains with her supportive husband, two wild little boys, and a very smart cat who may or may not be a familiar.
