Domenique Serfontein is an illustrator based in Wicklow, Ireland. Her work celebrates the quiet beauty of animals and nature, telling stories that inspire empathy and appreciation for the environment. She believes art can raise awareness about issues such as climate change and help protect and celebrate animals for future generations.
When not in the studio, Domenique enjoys hiking with her husband and dogs (Nina and Heidi), reading fantasy novels, gaming, and tending her garden. With a BA in Graphic Design and currently completing an MA in Illustration at Falmouth University, she loves learning and exploring new ways to tell stories. She works with both digital and traditional media, especially pencils, gouache, and acrylic inks. Domenique's art reflects her love for the natural world, created with warmth, honesty, and a touch of magic.
Domenique is proudly represented by Carter Hasegawa (carter@tugeau2.com).
