Ariel Kaplowitz Hahn writes picture books. After graduating from the University of Michigan, Ariel served in K-12 schools through AmeriCorps before earning her MFA in creative writing at North Carolina State University. A true Michigander, Ariel returned to Ann Arbor to teach writing at the University of Michigan. Now she lives with her husband, children, dog, cat, and chickens on the north side of town, where she plays outside every day.
