Perched at her desk in Columbus, Ohio, Annalise Barber illustrates and writes primarily for children. She graduated from the Columbus College of Art & Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in Illustration and minoring in Creative Writing. Stylistically, Annalise experiments with sinuous shapes and playful narratives. She also prefers to use tactile media such as rough paper, watercolor, and colored pencils. When away from her desk, she’ll likely adventure with her friends, listen to a book, and/or singsong some melodies on her flute.
